I've been dying to talk about this - I've written a massive feature for Polygon on how Christian videogame developers are working to create new, high quality games.
The Christian games space has been filled with really low quality titles for years. But a group of these guys are trying to do something meaningful - and tell meaningful stories. I was really moved by a lot of them, especially Ryan Green. His infant son has been dealing with cancer for the past few years, and he's making a videogame about the experience.
You can see what Ryan Green and Josh Larson are working on here. I'd encourage you to check it out. He's a remarkable guy, and the Greens are a remarkable family. There's plenty I want to say about it, but I'm pretty sure you'll get most of what I'm trying to convey in the story.
So please, read it!
